Teenage Girl Kills a 5-Year-Old Child and Keeps the Body in a Wardrobe

A 14-year-old girl with the initials NF claimed to have killed a 5-year-old child at her home. The confession was conveyed at the Taman Sari Sector Police Office, West Jakarta on Friday morning, March 6, 2020.

Taman Sari Police Station officers then contacted members of the Sawah Besar Sector Police to handle the case because it was included in the Central Jakarta area.

Heru said, the murder took place at the suspect's house in Karang Anyar Sub-District, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta on Thursday 5 March 2020. The incident began when the victim came to the house at around 16:00 WIB.

According to Heru, investigators are still conducting an examination of the NF in order to find out the motive for the murder. The police are also said to have secured the suspect's house and examined a number of witnesses.

Recount Text

is one type of text in learning English that has a function to retell events or experiences that occurred in the past.

Characteristics of Recount Text

1. Using the simple past tense, past continuous tense, past perfect tense, and past perfect continuous tense.

2. Using temporal sequence, like On Saturday, On Monday, On Sunday.

3. Focus on specific participant.

4. Using the conjunctions, such as : then, before, after.

Generic Structure of Recount Text
-Orientation: Tells the background information about who, where, when events or events occur.
-Events: Tells of an event that happens after it is told in chronological order.
-Reorientation: Contains a summary or conclusion of all events. In this section also contains opinions or impressions of the author of the incident told.

Kinds of Recount Text

1. Personal Recount : A recount text that serves to tell about the author's personal experience.
2. Factual Recount : A recount text that serves to present reports of events that actually happened, such as science experiment reports or police reports.
3. Imaginative : A type of recount text that serves to present an imaginative story. Then write down events or events that have occurred.
